Contents
This course is embedded in one of the research projects of the PDS Group: the CABS project.
The topics covered in this course will reflect the current interests of the members of the CABS group. This year's topics are:

  • agent programming languages and tools;
  • cooperation and negotiation methods and algorithms;
  • planning and learning techniques.

Teaching and Examination

Seminar (0/0/0/2). Participants will have to choose one of the three topics given above and to prepare a presentation using one or more papers chosen by the lecturers. Each presentation will be given by one or two students and will be followed by a discussion session.
The other participants have to study the same papers and to deliver questions about the same topic. Questions will be collected in a mailing list and will be discussed in the discussion session.
Two weeks after the end of the course, all students have to write a paper about the topic chosen and presented during the course using some (5) additional relevant papers.
